Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Shimla | Gentle Acclimatisation & Orientation

Arrive in Shimla, the former summer capital of British India, surrounded by cedar forests and colonial charm.
This tour starts from Shimla. After hotel check-in and rest, enjoy a short, easy-paced orientation drive and gentle walk along Mall Road and the Ridge, Shimla’s most famous promenade. These areas offer level pathways, benches, cafés, and panoramic views of the surrounding hills — ideal for seniors to stretch their legs without exertion.

The evening is kept relaxed for acclimatisation and interaction with fellow travellers.

Day 2 – Shimla to Sarahan | Into the Sutlej Valley

After breakfast, drive through scenic mountain roads along the Sutlej River to reach Sarahan, a peaceful Himalayan village known for its apple orchards and spiritual heritage. Day 3 – Sarahan to Sangla & Chitkul | Baspa Valley Bliss

Today’s drive takes you into the picturesque Sangla Valley, one of the most beautiful regions of Kinnaur, dotted with pine forests, riverside meadows, and traditional wooden homes. Stop at Sangla village to see the historic Bering Nag Temple, dedicated to the local deity and reflecting classic Kinnauri craftsmanship.

Continue onward to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. With its wooden houses, green fields, prayer flags, and river views, Chitkul feels untouched by time. Sightseeing here is unhurried, allowing seniors to enjoy nature at a relaxed pace.

Day 4 – Chitkul to Kalpa | Kinnaur Kailash Views
