Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Night stay in Cochin
Arrive in Cochin.
Start your journey from Delhi meeting other group members at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Your SeniorHoliday Tour Manager will also be accompanying you on this tour. The manager will assist you in smooth check-in & luggage assistance at the airport.
On arrival at Cochin, proceed to your hotel. Checkin and rest for a while. Later we spend time visiting the nearby local beach area. Return back to hotel to enjoy dinner and overnight in Cochin hotel.

Day 2
Night stay in Munnar
Cochin Sightseeing. Drive to Munnar
After breakfast, check out and get ready for a city tour of Kochi.
First, visit St. Francis Church, built in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan Friars, and known as the oldest European church in India. Next, explore the Dutch Palace, originally constructed by the Portuguese. Then, see the Jewish synagogue in Fort Cochin, built in 1568, beautifully adorned with Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers.
Don’t miss the Chinese fishing nets (Cheenavala), a unique feature of Cochin, believed to have been introduced by traders from the court of Chinese ruler Kublai Khan.
After sightseeing, enjoy complimentary fresh coconut water.
Later, start the drive to Munnar, a famous hill station in Kerala, which takes about 4.5 hours. We’ll stop at a restaurant for lunch (at your own expense). Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to the hotel.

Night stay in Munnar
Munnar full day Sightseeing tour
This morning, after a hearty breakfast, we set off to explore the wonders of Munnar. Our first stop is the famous Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr, a majestic mountain goat.
Next, we drive to the picturesque Mattupetty Dam, offering stunning views that are perfect for photos.
We’ll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we’ll head to the Tea Museum, where you can delve into the fascinating history of tea, from cultivation to processing. Don’t miss the chance to purchase a variety of flavored teas to take home.
Afterward, we’ll drive by the beautiful Mattupetty Dam once more before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4
Night stay in Thekkady
Drive to Thekkady. Spice Plantation Tour & in evening enjoy the Kathakali Show
After breakfast, we’ll start our journey to Thekkady at 8:30 am. Set beside a serene lakeside, Thekkady is home to South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary.
We’ll stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Thekkady, we’ll embark on a Spice Plantation Tour to discover the famous spices of Kerala. After the tour, check into the hotel and take some time to relax.
In the evening, you’ll be treated to a captivating Kathakali performance. This traditional dance-drama, known for its elaborate makeup and costumes, literally means “story play.”
After the Kathakali performance, you can explore the nearby shops before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Night stay in Thakkady
Periyar Sanctuary. Ayurveda Massage & Kalaripayattu Show
Early in the morning, visit the Periyar Sanctuary for an exciting boat ride on Periyar Lake. This 1.5-hour excursion offers a chance to spot some of the sanctuary’s incredible wildlife, including tigers, leopards, elephants, bison, antelopes, sambar deer, wild boars, monkeys, and a wide variety of birds.
The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. We highly recommend trying a local Ayurveda massage for a rejuvenating experience. Enjoy lunch on your own at any of the local restaurants while doing spice shopping.
In the evening, witness a thrilling Kalaripayattu performance. This ancient martial art from Kerala is one of the oldest and most scientific forms of martial arts in the world, aiming for perfect coordination of mind and body.
After the performance, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Thekkady.

Night stay in Kumarakom in a Houseboat / Resort
Drive to Kumarakom. Sunset Boat Ride on on Vembanad Lake
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Kumarkom.
Upon arrival, check-in at your lakeside resort in Kumarakom. Lunch will be served at hotel.
Kumarakom is small typical Kerala Village where you wil have real feel of Kerala lifestyle. Relaxe by the pool side or take a Village walk
and engage with the local village folks to witness and understand their lifestyle. Buy fresh coconut water to refresh yourself.
In the evening, board the sunset cruise from your hotel to see world famous backwaters of Kerala on the Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala. Later, return to the hotel to rest and enjoy a get-together session before dinner.

Return flight to home
Finally, this incredible vacation concludes. Following breakfast, transfer to the Cochin airport where your tour manager will assist you as needed.

Terms of Booking
The following terms the terms for this tour:
- Before 45 Days from the date of departure, a deposit of minimum 35% of the total tour cost, per person, is required to secure your booking.
- If you are booking the tour 1 to 30 days prior to the start of the tour – (ie. Tour Departure Date), you are obligated to pay the full tour package amount (less any advance, already paid).
- Failure to pay the full amount may result in the cancellation of your booking, with the company retaining any amounts paid.
Tour Cancellation Terms:
If SeniorHolidays cancels this particular tour, we promise to refund 100% of the amount you’ve paid, up to the time of cancellation.
However, if you decide to cancel your participation in the tour, SeniorHolidays will help you get a refund for the amount you’ve already paid, minus any third-party fees. You can also choose to apply that amount toward a future holiday booking with us at your convenience, without any obligation, based on the cancellation terms below:
- Cancellations made 45 days prior to travel incur a charge of 10% of the tour value.
- Cancellations made within 44 to 30 days of travel incur a charge of 50% of the tour value.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of travel are non-refundable.
Policy regarding Flight Bookings
- The price of the quoted tour package includes the cost of the flight ticket, which was calculated at the time this tour program was marketed. However, please note that you will be required to pay the actual fare applicable on the day you initiate your tour booking, after you have received your necessary travel visa. This means that the final flight fare may vary depending on the rates at the time of booking.
- As a policy we book Non-refundable flight tickets in Economy Class – unless you specify other preferences.
- Payment for flight bookings must be made in full in advance and is non-refundable once the tickets are issued.
