Day 1

Welcome to Sri Lanka – Drive to the Hill Capital, Kandy

Arrive early morning at Colombo International Airport, where your Sri Lankan journey begins. After a light breakfast at the airport (on your own), meet your tour manager and board the comfortable coach to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka.
En route, enjoy scenic views of the countryside. After checking in and relaxing at your hotel, head out in the evening to visit a local Gem Museum, admire the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (outside only), and enjoy a captivating Sri Lankan Cultural Show that brings traditional music and dance to life.

Day 2

A Day in the Highlands – Excursion to Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast, embark on a scenic day trip to the cool hill town of Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England.” On the way, stop at the peaceful Hanuman Temple, surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy a relaxed lunch break at Ariya Mall (on your own), followed by a visit to the Sita Mata Temple, an important site from the Ramayana legend. Return to Kandy by evening, and unwind after a day of cultural discovery.

Day 3

From Kandy to Bentota – Temples, Spices & Gentle Giants

After breakfast, check out and head south toward the coastal town of Bentota. Along the way, explore a fragrant Spice Garden, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s herbal heritage.
Next, visit the heartwarming Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary for rescued elephants where you can observe them up close. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Pinnawala, then continue your journey to Bentota. Arrive and check in at your beachfront hotel—relax and breathe in the ocean air.

Day 4

Leisure in Bentota – Rest, Rejuvenate & Explore at Your Pace

Breakfast & Dinner

Post breakfast, explore the Madu River Boat Safari & later visit to a Turtle Hatchery. Return to hotel by lunch – rest of the day enjoy at leisure. Relax at the hotel, take a walk along Bentota’s golden beach, or simply soak in the tranquil surroundings. 

Day 5

Coastal Charm to City Life – Bentota to Colombo

Breakfast & Dinner

After a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to the hills of Kandy and set off for Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival, embark on a panoramic city tour, passing by iconic landmarks such as the elegant Gangaramaya Temple, serene Beira Lake, and graceful colonial-era buildings that echo the city’s rich heritage. Later, after lunch, enjoy a relaxed shopping experience at Colombo’s premier malls – browse through the stylish boutiques at ODEL or explore great bargains and local fashion at The House of Fashion Mall. By evening, check in at your comfortable city hotel, where the rest of the evening is yours to unwind at leisure.

Farewell Sri Lanka – Departure from Colombo
